PECT are a local sustainability charity, aiming to create sustainable places locally, regionally, and nationally who are leading on the rural communities aspect of Peterborough Accelerated Net Zero (PANZ), a project being led by Peterborough City Council and funded by Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
As part of the project, PECT is holding a workshop to speak with Northborough Parish Councillors and residents about the barriers and potential solutions to cutting carbon in homes and transport and moving towards a cleaner and greener Peterborough.
PECT will share existing funding, support and training opportunities for communities to save money and energy, and work with your community to understand local issues and potential solutions. This will not only inform future net zero initiatives in Peterborough, but also support wider action across communities in the UK.
